About Feedverse
The story behind Feedverse
Feedverse did not start as a company, a trend, or a quick idea.
It started in 2014, after years of watching social media become less about people and more about control, data, algorithms, and platforms deciding what everyone should see. One of the final sparks was seeing Facebook move closer toward payments and financial services. Maybe it was harmless. Maybe it was not. Either way, it made one thing clear: social media was becoming too powerful, too invasive, and too far removed from the people it was supposed to serve.

That frustration became the earliest idea for Feedverse.
At first, the vision was bigger than the skills available. The goal was always to build something better: stronger privacy, better security, cleaner code, smarter systems, and a social network where users had real choice. But getting there took time.
Over the years, Feedverse survived more than just technical challenges. It continued through medical problems, surgeries, hospitalizations, dialysis, setbacks, and long stretches where it would have been easier to give up. But the idea never went away.
Along the way, side jobs and real-world coding work helped shape the platform. Every project became a chance to learn how code works in practice, especially around security, structure, reliability, and the kind of systems Feedverse would eventually need.
Feedverse officially launched on October 19, 2024.
It was built around a simple belief:
Social media should feel human again.
- No AI-generated feeds.
- No algorithm deciding what matters most.
- No endless manipulation for engagement.
- No platform trying to own every part of your online life.
The idea behind the logo
The Feedverse logo is built around a simple idea: connection.
The connected shapes represent people, profiles, conversations, and communities linking together without everything being controlled by an algorithm. Each part can stand on its own, but together they form something larger.
That is what Feedverse is meant to be: independent people, connected naturally.
Feedverse is designed for real people, real profiles, real conversations, chronological feeds, privacy-focused tools, and user choice.
It is independent. It is personal. And it exists because social media can be better than what it became.
